1. Lightweight structure and light weight:
This is one of the core features of European cranes. It adopts an
optimized box beam or truss beam structure (usually the main beam
is a skewed or semi-skewed box beam, and the end beam is a
three-beam structure), which minimizes the weight of the crane
itself while ensuring strength and rigidity.
Advantages: It reduces the pressure requirements on the
load-bearing structure of the plant (corbels, columns), which can
save the cost of plant construction; it is especially beneficial
for the renovation of old plants or limited space; it reduces the
inertia during operation and is more energy-efficient.
2. Compact size and high space utilization:
European design pursues extreme space utilization. It is reflected
in:
High limit position of the hook: The hook can run very close to the
top of the plant, which effectively improves the vertical
utilization of the internal space of the plant.
Small end beam size: The narrow width of the end beam reduces the
"dead zone" space of the crane in the track direction.
Compact trolley frame: The trolley structure is exquisitely
designed and the wheel pressure distribution is reasonable, making
the trolley width relatively small.
Advantages: Under the same plant span, it can provide a larger
effective lifting height and working coverage; it is particularly
suitable for occasions with compact space or the need to maximize
the use of existing space.
3. Smooth operation and precise positioning:
Thanks to the precise manufacturing process and advanced control
system:
Drive system: The "three-in-one" drive mechanism (motor, brake, and
reducer are integrated into one) is generally adopted, with compact
structure, high transmission efficiency, and good synchronization.
Variable frequency speed regulation: The hoisting, trolley, and
trolley operating mechanisms are usually equipped with variable
frequency stepless speed regulation control as standard. It can
achieve smooth adjustment of start, stop, and running speed,
effectively suppress load swing, and achieve millimeter-level
precise positioning.
Rigid design: The main beam and end beam are reliably connected,
with good overall rigidity and small running shaking.
Advantages: Greatly improve loading and unloading efficiency and
operation safety; reduce the impact on hoisted objects; meet the
requirements of precision assembly, high-precision positioning,
etc.
4. Superior performance and high working level:
European cranes are usually designed and manufactured according to
international standards (such as FEM, DIN), with high working
levels (such as A5, A6 or even higher). This means:
The selection of key components such as motors, electrical
components, and steel structures leaves sufficient safety margins.
It can adapt to more frequent starts and stops, longer daily
working hours, and higher load rates.
