Applications

Convection Section

  • Location: The upper part of the furnace, after the radiant section.

Sometimes in Radiant Section (Secondary Heating Area)

  • Conditionally, if the radiant section has lower radiant intensity or is partially shielded, these fin tubes may also be used here to recover radiant + convective heat.
