2. System Requirements for External Conditions:
2.1 Water Source: Municipal water supply connected to the raw water
tank inlet, flow rate 2 T/H.
2.2 Water Temperature: 5-45°C
2.3 Raw Water Conductivity ≤ 1000 μS/cm
2.4 Power supply: The user shall provide 3 kW/220 V/50 Hz power to
the control cabinet.
2.5 The equipment must be installed indoors to avoid direct
sunlight affecting the equipment.
2.6 A drainage channel is required, with a maximum drainage
capacity of 2 tonnes per hour.
2.7 Indoor lighting fixtures and sufficient space for maintenance
must be provided.
2.8 The equipment room must have good ventilation to avoid the
effects of acid, alkali, and dust on the equipment.
Reverse Osmosis System
Principle Description: Reverse osmosis is a new membrane separation
technology developed in the 1960s. It is a process that uses
reverse osmosis membranes to separate the solvent from the solute
in a solution under pressure.
Osmosis is a physical process. When two solutions with different
salt concentrations are separated by a semi-permeable membrane, the
solution with lower salt concentration will permeate through the
membrane into the solution with higher salt concentration. This
process is called natural osmosis. However, if pressure is applied
to the side with higher salt concentration, the osmosis process can
be halted. This pressure is referred to as osmotic pressure. If the
pressure is increased further, water can permeate in the opposite
direction, while salts do not pass through. Therefore, the
principle of reverse osmosis desalination involves applying a
pressure greater than the natural osmotic pressure to the saline
water, causing osmosis to occur in the opposite direction. This
forces water molecules from the original water to the other side of
the membrane, producing clean water and achieving the goal of
removing salts from the water. This is the principle of reverse
osmosis desalination.
