Manufacturing process of large gear ring
2.1 Blank
The blank of steel casting is provided by the factory and is
implemented according to the provisions of GB11352-89 standard. The
casting is molded, smelted, poured, boxed, cleaned and trimmed
according to the casting process requirements; the blank of steel
casting is inspected according to the drawings and technical
requirements during inspection and acceptance, and the next process
is released after acceptance according to the provisions of
JB/T6402-92 standard.
2.2 Rough processing
Marking and leaving machining allowance, alignment, connection,
machining inner and outer circles, milling joint surfaces, drilling
and other processes according to the requirements of the drawings.
2.3 Flaw detection
The whole is inspected by ultrasonic flaw detection, and the
internal quality should meet the secondary requirements specified
in GB7233-87 standard.
2.4 Normalizing pretreatment
The half gear ring is normalized and tempered in pairs to provide a
good organization for subsequent surface quenching; and the
deformation of the half gear ring after heat treatment is checked
according to the requirements of the drawings.
2.5 Machining
First, connect the two half gear rings with high-strength bolts to
form an integral gear ring. Process the inner and outer circles and
upper and lower end faces of the integral gear ring according to
the requirements of the drawings, and then mill the teeth according
to the requirements of the drawings and machining process.
2.6 Eliminate machining stress
Anneal the integral gear ring to eliminate stress.
2.7 Surface quenching of the integral gear ring
The surface of the gear is induction quenched along the tooth
groove by medium frequency induction quenching, with a hardness of
HRC50~55 and an effective hardened layer depth of 3~5mm.
2.8 Final inspection
First, check whether the hardness of each tooth groove of the gear
ring after medium frequency quenching and tempering meets the
requirements of the drawings; secondly, check whether the maximum
outer diameter D6944 size has increased. If the deformation is 3mm,
mechanical correction is required until it is qualified; thirdly,
magnetic particle flaw detection is performed on the gear teeth and
transition fillets. The quality should meet the secondary
requirements specified in the GB/T9444-88 standard; finally, final
inspection is performed according to the drawings and technical
requirements.
