Trisodium phosphate regulates pH value

1. Strong alkaline property
When trisodium dihydrate dissolves in water, it dissociates into PO₄³⁻ ions, making the solution strongly alkaline (pH≈11-12), and is an ideal pH regulator and buffer.

2. Specific functions
Neutralize acidic wastewater
It is used in electroplating, chemical engineering, printing and dyeing and other industries to neutralize acidic wastewater (such as residual sulfuric acid and hydrochloric acid), and prevent corrosion of pipelines and equipment. Stabilize the pH value of the system
In boiler water and circulating cooling water, it can maintain an alkaline environment (pH 9-11) for a long time, prevent acidic corrosion and extend the service life of equipment.
Compared with NaOH (caustic soda), its alkalinity is milder and it is less likely to cause local excessive alkalinity.
It is used in combination with other water treatment agents
When compounded with corrosion inhibitors (such as sodium silicate) and scale inhibitors (such as sodium hexametaphosphate), it optimizes the water treatment effect.

4. Precautions for Use
Dosage control
It needs to be adjusted in real time according to the pH of the water quality. Excessive use may cause the pH to be too high (>12), affecting subsequent treatment.
Phosphorus content limit
The discharge of wastewater containing phosphate must comply with environmental protection standards. If necessary, chemical precipitation methods (such as adding aluminum salts or iron salts) should be used in combination for phosphorus removal.
Solubility
Hydrates are more soluble than anhydrous products and are suitable for rapid pH adjustment, but they have lower active ingredients and the actual dosage needs to be calculated.
