The separation principle of sodium battery materials by the fully
automatic electromagnetic dry powder magnetic separator mainly
relies on the adsorption effect of the magnetic field generated by
electromagnetic induction on magnetic substances. When sodium
battery materials pass through the magnetic separator, magnetic
impurities (such as mixed iron, nickel, cobalt and other metal and
compound particles) in them will be adsorbed onto the magnetic
medium under the action of the magnetic force. Sodium battery
materials themselves are usually non-magnetic or weakly magnetic
and are not subject to obvious magnetic field forces, thus being
able to continue moving forward with the material flow. After
passing through the magnetic field area, the sodium battery
material was initially separated from the adsorbed magnetic
impurities. Non-magnetic sodium battery materials are discharged
from the discharge port of the magnetic separator. The magnetic
impurities adsorbed on the magnetic medium gradually increase. When
the power is cut off, the electromagnetic coil loses its magnetism,
and the magnetic medium demagnetizes. At the same time, the
vibration or scraper device is activated to make the magnetic
impurities adsorbed on the magnetic medium fall off and be
discharged from the slag outlet, thus completing a complete iron
removal cycle process. This ensures that the iron remover can work
continuously and stably, and constantly purify the silicon-carbon
anode material.
