ASME SA213 T12 High Frequency Welding Fin Tube For Power Plants
The "T12" designation refers to the material grade of the tube,
specifically Grade T12, which is a low-alloy steel primarily
consisting of 1.25% chromium and 0.5% molybdenum. The T12 steel
provides excellent high-temperature strength, making it ideal for
applications where resistance to creep and oxidation is necessary.
The chromium and molybdenum content in T12 steel offers improved resistance to corrosion, particularly in high-temperature environments.
The attached fins on the tube surface increase the surface area, promoting better heat dissipation or absorption depending on the system design.
High-frequency welding is a relatively low-cost, high-speed process, making the product more economical compared to other welding methods.
