Working principle
The working principle of EDI equipment is mainly based on the
combination of electrodialysis and ion exchange technology. Under
the action of direct current electric field, the cation and anion
in the ion exchange resin in the fresh water chamber migrate to the
negative electrode and the positive electrode respectively, and
enter the concentrated water chamber through the corresponding ion
exchange membrane to form concentrated water. At the same time, the
hydrogen ions and hydroxide ions produced by hydroelectrolysis
continuously regenerate the ion exchange resin to maintain its best
condition. In this way, the deep removal of ions from water and the
purification of water can be achieved.
