Black aluminum oxide, also known as Black fused alumina, low-aluminum corundum, Black emery, etc. is produced by melting high iron bauxite and high alumina bauxite in an electric arc furnace, characterizing by 62-65% low Al2O3 content. There is a certain amount of Fe2O3 (about 10%), so it has the characteristics of moderate hardness, high toughness, high temperature resistance and stable thermal performance.
The crude grits 12#, 14#, 16#, 20#, 24#, 30#,36#, 46#, 54#, 60# are mostly used for bonded abrasives, free grinding and sandblasting, etc.
