Micronized graphite is natural crystalline graphite ,subjected to milling ,grinding ,and particle classification:then further

concentrate to desired levels .Hensen's micronized graphite's average particle size ranges from 3 to 60 microns ,with fixed

carbon of 90-99.9% .Using one or combination of different mills ,such as jet mill,hammer mill and spherical mill,Hensen

Graphite produces and supplies micronized graphite with specific physical properties and optimized to the needs of each application .

Properties: It has oxidation resistance, self-lubrication and isoplasticity under high temperature conditions, and has good

electrical conductivity, electric heating and adhesion.

Typical Grades :

Nowadays, graphite is being used in many industries, here just listed 3 types for a general understanding of its application:

1: Used as refractory material: Graphite and its products have the properties of high temperature resistance and high strength. It is mainly used

in the metallurgical industry to make graphite crucibles. In steel making, graphite is often used as a protective agent for steel ingots and as a

lining for metallurgical furnaces.

2:Used as conductive material: used in the electrical industry to make electrodes, brushes, carbon rods, carbon tubes, positive electrodes of

positive current devices, graphite washers, telephone parts and coatings for television picture tubes.

3: Used as wear-resistant lubricating material: Graphite is often used as a lubricant in the machinery industry. Lubricating oil often cannot be

used under high-speed, high- temperature, and high-pressure conditions, while graphite wear-resistant materials can work at high sliding

speeding at a temperature of 200-2000 celcius degree without lubricating oil. Many equipment that transports corrosive media widely use

graphite materials to make piston cups, seals and bearing. They do not need to add lubricating oil during operation.
