About Product

The method of installing the excavator fan belt is as follows:

1. Make sure the excavator is turned off and the engine has cooled down.

2. LoC-A-Te the pulleys on the fan and engine. Typically, there will be one driving wheel and one or more driven wheels on the engine, while there is usually only one driven wheel on the fan.

3. Check the condition of the belt to make sure there is no obvious damage or wear, such as cracks, breaks or deformation. If the belt is damaged, it should be replaced with a new one.

4. Loosen the fastening nut or adjusting bolt on the fan driven wheel. This may require the use of a wrench or wrench socket.

5. Place the new belt between the driving pulley and the driven pulley. Make sure the belt is properly aligned with the wheel groove. If there are multiple driven pulleys, make sure the belt is installed correctly on each driven pulley.

6. Tighten the fastening nut or adjusting bolt on the fan driven pulley to keep the belt at appropriate tension. Please refer to your excavator's operating manual or relevant specifiC-A-Tions to determine the correct belt tension value.

7. Check that the belt is installed correctly and is not loose or offset in the various wheel grooves. Make sure the belt is not interfered with by any other parts.

8. Start the excavator and observe whether the fan belt is operating normally and there is no abnormal noise or vibration.
