The ASMP is an innovative blind-mate RF connector that shares the same structural design and method of use as the SMP. It features an outer dimension that is approximately 22% larger than the SMP, leading to an increase in transmission power by nearly 30% to 50%. The ASMP is particularly well-suited for board-to-board connections, dense modular mounting, and applications with high power demands. The male SMP connector is available in two interface types - full detent and smooth bore, whereas the female connector has a singular interface compatible with both types of male connectors.
