High temperature resistant samarium cobalt permanent magnet
SmCo5 and Sm2Co17 are the main components of samarium cobalt
magnets. Consists of samarium, cobalt and other rare earth metal
material proportioning, smelting alloy, after grinding, molding,
sintering, made of a magnetic material, high magnetic energy
product, low temperature coefficient, the highest working
temperature is 350 ℃, no negative temperature, in operating
temperature above 180 ℃, and the temperature stability and chemical
stability than ndfeb permanent magnet materials.
Sm2Co17 magnet is 2∶17 type samarium cobalt has excellent permanent magnet performance. Samarium cobalt permanent magnets are mainly made of rare earth elements such as samarium and cobalt, which are mainly divided into the first generation SmCo5(type 1:5) and the second generation Sm2Co17(type 2:17). Take the second generation of samarium-cobalt permanent magnet as an example, in which cobalt accounts for 48%-52%. The characteristics of samarium-samarium-cobalt permanent magnet are high magnetic properties, and its high temperature resistance is better than that of NdFeb permanent magnet. However, due to the high content of cobalt and its higher cost than neodymium, its downstream applications are relatively few, mainly in defense, aerospace, communications technology and other fields.
