KD9988M is a film-backed polyimide tape coated on both sides with silicone adhesive to provide high temperature resistance and excellent properties of Kapton tape 1 inch.

Features (Including Electrostatic Discharge at Unwind and Removal). Excellent Tensile Strength/ Elongation with long term heat exposure up to 260, short duration heat exposure up to 300; Both-Face Adhesion Similar and No residue upon removal from both-sides).

Application, Mask for PC boards during Wave Solder/Soder Dip process; Mask contacts during spray painting, powder coating & solder coating processes. and Bundling transformer, motor, battery & electronic components together in bundles prior to storage or delivery of goods

Storage
For optimal results, store in conditions between 10-30% relative humidity and 40-70% relative humidity for best results; avoid direct sunlight. Shelf Life when stored correctly: 12 months from the date of manufacturing

Precaution Reminder Packing requires surfaces free from dust, oil and any contaminants which might compromise adhesion, such as dust. Pressure should also be applied properly by roller, hand or press when applying it - repeated sticking could decrease adhesion levels over time.
