Advantages

• Starting Torque

Starting Torque Low, as all rotating elements are guided in anti-friction bearings. Star-Delta-Start is possible with three-phase-motors.

• Pressure

Pressures up to 12 bar as rotary-lobe-pumps are single stage in general. Special systems go up to 18 bar. The possible pressure is also limited due to the radial forces at the non drive end of the shafts and their deflection resulting from it.

• Floor space occupied

Little floor space, as being built very compact in Block-design. Suction- and pressure pipes in one line, so inline-assembly is possible without elbows in the pipeworks. Little required space for service. No removable parts in the pipeworks required. Any nominal flange diameter can be realised as the flanges are separately bolted to the pump body. Especially floor space saving is the jacked up drive design with V-belt between drive and pump.
