What Is The Best Way To Remove Air Bubbles When Applying Decals And Laminate Film ?

The same technique is used for decals or laminate film. When a small decal or laminate is applied, it's usually easy to squeeze out air bubbles with your fingers or you may want to use a very soft cloth.
If you are applying a large or full sheet, a beveled ruler works well, or possibly a credit card ... something with a straight flat edge.

It's best not to remove the entire backing at once. Begin by peeling the backing from the top about 3 or 4 inches. Position the top of the printed sheet or laminate on your surface with the adhesive side down to stick. Using the tool (ruler for instance), begin putting pressure at the top and start smoothing downward. The backing can continue to be removed as you work to the bottom.
If you still see air bubbles when you're finished, you might prick the air bubble with a straight pin to let out the air, then smooth it down.

Instruction

1. Cut out the graphic you want
2. Immerse the paper in water in about 5 sec,the fixing paper will absorb enough water and can be seperated from the water transfer paper.
3. Hold the paper(two layer together) and transfer it to the surface of your substrate.shift the paper a little bit. use your figer to hold the water transfer paper in position.pull and shift the fixing paper away slowly.shift and fix the water transfer paper onto the position you want.
4. Use the paper towel or a piece of the cloth to squessze the water.avoid excessive pressure that may shift or damage the water transfer paper.
5. When applying to large area,you may use a plastic squeegee to squeeze the air bubble and water away.
6. After approx for about 10mins, the printed graphic will transfer onto the surface of the substrate.use a forceps to peer off the transparen covering paper.
7. When dried,place the subject in the oven and baked.the baking temperatuer and curling time various with different materials.please refer to the following chart for details.
8. Finished.
