Hastelloy C22 is a versatile Ni-cr-Mo alloy with better overall corrosion resistance than other existing Ni-Cr-Mo alloys,
including Hastelloy C276, C4 and 625 alloys. Hastelloy C22 alloys have excellent resistance to pitting, crevice corrosion
and stress corrosion cracking. It has excellent resistance to oxidizing water media, including wet chlorine, nitric acid, or
oxidizing acid mixtures containing chloride ions. At the same time, Hastelloy C22 alloys also have ideal resistance to the
reducing and oxidizing environments encountered during the process. Because of this versatile performance, it can be
used in some troublesome environment, or in multiple production purpose plant applications.
