Introduction to Elbows

In the pipeline system, elbow is a pipe fitting that changes the direction of the pipeline. What is the difference between long radius elbow and short radius elbow?

Short radius elbow has short radius and long radius elbow has long radius! Generally speaking, the medium flow resistance of short radius elbow is large, while that of long radius elbow is small.

1. The commonly used elbow is the long radius series, and the bending radius of the pitch diameter is 1.5 times of the nominal diameter (38mm when the nominal diameter is less than 25)

2. Short radius series, bending radius of middle diameter is 1.0 times of nominal diameter
