All Aluminium Conductor is used mainly in urban areas where the spacing is short and the supports are close. Class AA for bare conductors used in overhead lines. Class A conductors to be covered with weather-resistant materials and for bare conductors where greater flexibility are required.

STANDARDS:

Manufacturing Standards :GB/T 1179-2008, IEC 61089, EN 50182, DIN 48204, BS 215 Part 2, ASTM B232, NF C 34-120 or as required

CONSTRUCTION:

Aluminum 1350-H19 wires, concentrically stranded.

The most commonly used stranding consists of 7, 19, 37, 61 and 91 wires.

Bare concentric-lay-stranded aluminum wires constructed with a straight round central aluminum wire surrounded by one or more layers of helically laid aluminum wires.
In all constructions, the successive layers shall have opposite directions of lay, the outermost layer being right-handed.
