What is carbon Fibre twill?

Twill weave consists of a 2x2 or 4x4 pattern and is the most commonly recognized type of carbon fiber fabric. In a 2x2 weave, each tow passes over two tows and then under two tows. It stands to reason, then, that a 4x4 weave consists of each tow passing over four tows and then under four tows.

What is the difference between plain weave and twill weave carbon fiber?

Plain weave styles are less pliable but hold together well when cut. On the other hand, twill weaves feature fibers that run straighter for greater lengths—maintaining the theoretical strengths of the fiber—so they are more pliable and stronger than plain styles.

Is a twill weave stronger than plain?

Because the filling and warp yarns in a twill weave do not interlace as many times as they do in a plain weave, the yarns can be packed more tightly together. This makes the fabric stronger, thicker, and better able to hide soil than a plain weave made from the same materials.

The carbon fiber tubes Shanghai Lijin mainly produce is table-rolled and oven thermoset. The tubes can be Full Carbon or Carbon Fiber and Fiberglass composite, depending on the application, weight limit,mechanical

strength and surface requirement.Shanghai Lijin offers top quality ROUND carbon fiber tubes. The general OD tolerance we achieve is +/-0.10mm and it can be even +/-0.05mm after our special surface process.

The maximum length of the tube can be 5500mm.

Besides the traditional table-rolled carbon fiber tubes, Shanghai Lijin also offers REAL Filament wound carbon fiber tubes,which are widely used for mechanical strength like auto driving shaft, antennas, even for military

applications. The filament wound carbon tubes are wound at a certain angle like 30 or 45 degree. We invested the new production line from Jun 2013 and this increases Shanghai Lijin’s advantage in the carbon

fiber tube industry. There are just a few real filament wound carbon fiber tube manufacturers in domestic
