Same as any drum brakes. Best if the tow vehicle is attached to the trailer so to hold it in place. One wheel at a time, take a bottle jack and raise the wheel off the ground. Try spinning the wheel. If you don’t hear any dragging of the brake against the drum, crawl under the trailer with a brake spoon and click the adjuster inside (you must have someone show you how to do this if you don’t know how) and while spinning the wheel every so often, click the adjuster tighter till you hear the brake lining scraping the drum. Once again, if you’ve never done this you MUST have someone show you how to do this, or you run the risk of either burning out the brakes or not having any brakes at all.
