The laser power density of 100~1000W/cm2 can be obtained by reducing the spot diameter to micron level easily by using the high concentration of laser in space and time. This high power density allows laser drilling in almost any material.

Usually a laser punch consists of five major components:

1) solid state laser

2)electrical system

3)optical system

4) projection system

5)three coordinate moving table. The five components work together to complete the drilling task.
