Structural composition
Power system: mainly composed of air compressors, providing
compressed air power for the drilling rig. Common types of air
compressors include piston type, screw type, etc.
Drilling system
Drill rod: used to connect the drilling rig and drill bit,
transmitting power and torque, allowing the drill bit to penetrate
deep into the formation for drilling, and also serving as a channel
for compressed air to enter the wellbore.
Drill bit: a component that directly acts on the formation, with
various types depending on different geological conditions and
drilling requirements, such as roller bits, diamond bits, down the
hole hammer bits, etc. Its function is to break and cut rocks.
Pneumatic hammer or pneumatic motor: It is the core component of
the drilling rig, which converts the energy of compressed air into
mechanical impact or rotational motion to drive the drill bit to
work.
Walking system: For some pneumatic water well drilling machines
that require movement, they are equipped with walking mechanisms
such as tracked or wheeled walking devices, which facilitate the
movement and positioning of the drilling machine between different
work sites, and improve the maneuverability and flexibility of the
drilling machine.
Control system: used to control various operations of the drilling
rig, such as drilling speed, rotation direction, lifting and
lowering of drill rods, etc., generally including operating
handles, buttons, pressure gauges, valves and other components.
Operators use the control system to achieve precise control of the
drilling rig and ensure the smooth progress of drilling work.
advantage
Efficient drilling: In hard rock formations, the drilling speed of
pneumatic water well drilling machines is relatively fast, which
can effectively improve construction efficiency.
Good maneuverability: The equipment is usually compact and can be
equipped with tracked or wheeled walking devices, making it easy to
move and operate in complex terrain conditions such as mountains
and hills, and can reach areas with inconvenient transportation.
Suitable for various geological formations: especially suitable for
drilling operations in hard rock formations such as granite,
basalt, etc., and can also be applied in some loose formations.
Lower cost: Compared to some large hydraulic or electric drilling
rigs, pneumatic water well drilling rigs have relatively lower
purchase and operating costs, especially in areas with insufficient
power supply or high power access costs, with obvious advantages.
Easy maintenance: Its structure is relatively simple, and
maintenance and upkeep work are relatively easy. The required
maintenance equipment and tools are also relatively few, reducing
maintenance costs and downtime.
