Product Description:

The ammonia gas after cracking become a kind of mixed gas, this mixed gas composed by 75% H_{2 and} 25% N_2.

But in this mixed gas, there are much water and residual ammonia, which is harmful as the protective gas.so the purification process is a MUST. The purification unit adopt the molecule adorption sieve technology to absorb the water and residual ammonia.The adsorption tank is designed in pairs , while one tank is for adsorbing and another is for renewing, so the workers can use them alternately. After purification units, the gas is very pure, the ammonia residual can be < 2ppm.

Normally, this part is combined with the cracking furnace, but we can sell the purifiaciton unit indenpently too.

Above is the standard configuration.The ammonia cracker is a kind of non-standard equipment, but we can design the equipment based on customers' requirement. Some additional functions also can be added:
1. PLC programmed controller can be added, which can automatically control the various working states of the equipment.
2. Dew point detector can be added.
3. Gas content testing system can be added.

The gas made in this method is a good protective gas which can be used widely in steel wire industry, metallurgical industry and other industries and science research where need protective gas.
1. Ammonia is easy to be cracked: With not very high pressure, under the reaciton of nickle catalysts, and a temperature controlled at around 800ºC, the ammonia will nearly completely crack, with the cracking rate reaching 99.9%.
2. Easy to refine the gas: As the raw material, the liquid ammonia is of very high purity. The volatile impurities are only little inert gas and water dissolved in the liquid ammonia and there is nearly no oxygen. So the water can be removed by adsorbing with a dew point of -60 ºC while the gas going through the 5A molecular sieve. By this way, the water and residual ammonia which are harmful in the processing point can be removed.
3. The liquid ammonia as raw material is easily accessible at a low price and the raw material consumption is also relatively smaller( In theory, each Kg of ammonia can create 2.64 Nm3 mixed gas).
