Subminiature compression force sensor FC10C is made of stainless steel based on metal foil stain gauge technology intended for compression force measurement.Miniature button load cell FC10C offers 5kgf / 10kgf / 20kgf / 50kgf four measuring ranges to choose from.Small size compression load cell FC10C is featured with only 10mm outer diameter and 6mm total height which makes it extremely suitable for force measurement applications with limited mounting space.Typical applications for transducer FC10C are such as clamping force measuremen,force overload protection,load distribution analysis,pressing die force measurement,auto equipment,assembly line and so on.

Specifications

Load cell output: = (Power supply * Rated output) * Load / Capacity
Rated output is normally within 1mV/V~3mV/V.
Power supply is normally within 3-15V.
Load / Capacity is within 0-1.
So the load cell output signal is normally within 0-45mV(-45mV...+45mV for bidirectional load cell).
Example one: FC10C-5kg with 1.0mV/V sensitivity powered by 5V DC,the output range is 0~5mV.
Example two: FC10C-10kg with 1.0mV/V sensitivity powered by 10V DC,the output range is 0~10mV.

Load cell + Signal amplifier:
Load cell normally outputs -30mV...+30mV which sometimes cannot be recognized by signal processing units directly,so signal conditioner is introduced to convert mV signal into 0-5V/0-10V/4-20mA for easy signal processing.
Example: Micro load cell FC10C-5kg working with 0-5V amplifier,the load-output relationship will be 0-5kg load VS 0-5V output,it is linear within the error range.
