These are very nice grinders. The stand is a nice bonus specially when setting a table. I also like the cap, it adds a nice finishing touch. I don't know if these are "forever" Salt and Pepper grinders but they seem very well built and should be a good value. This is a very pretty, simple salt/pepper grinder set. My kitchen is done all in a dark gray granite and stainless steel, so these blend in just perfectly as a bonus.
