Features

1. Cutting structure
In view of the different cutting characteristics of the inserts in different parts of the cone, the cone inserts are placed in the permanent contact area, and the wedge inserts are placed in the alternating contact area, which greatly improves the drilling efficiency. The diamond insert is provided in the permanent contact area of the cone to improve the wear resistance of the cutting structure, and the insert is worn seriously in this area. Introduction

The Fixed Diameter Hole Opener is made of tough heat treated alloy steel for maximum strength. Cutter arms, equipped with removable cutter, are hardfaced and welded on body. Cutters are available in three types: type SM for soft to medium formation, type MH for medium to hard formation and type XH for hard formation. The hole openers have three or six jet tubes with replaceable nozzles, so that jet streams quickly clean the enlarged hole.
