Operating Principle:

This polishing unit uses twice spray moistening polishing, the coming-out water is atomized through nozzles at first, and enters the polishing chamber evenly from main shaft hole at feeding end. Under a strong aspiration, rice rubs with screen plate and rotating smooth stainless steel roll each other. Under combined hydrothermal and friction effect, residual bran and groove mark are removed from rice surface, so as to form a gelatinous layer of starch on rice grain surface. At the same time, a secondary moistening is carried out in main shaft hole at material discharging end through hydraulic nozzles, to make rice surface sparkling and bright, smooth and clean, so as to improve the grades and commercial value of rice. The gelatinous layer can also improve the oxidation resistance and prolong the fresh-keeping period of rice. At the same time, rice with smooth and clean surface can not be washed or can be washed in a little, so that the rice nutrients will be lost very little, its taste is floppy and flavorful, and its edible value is increased.
This polishing unit can be used together with a rice whitener and also used alone for rice further processing.
