carbon steel and stainless steel pipe fittings elbow machine with
hydraulic cold forming method
1. Product Presentation
The cold push elbow machine can bend the pipe as well as the sheet
metal.In the case of pure bending, when the pipe with external
diameter D and wall thickness t is bent under the action of
external torque M, the outer wall of the neutral layer is subjected
to tensile stress 1 and the pipe wall becomes thinner.The inner
tube wall of the neutral layer thickens under the action of tensile
stress 1.Moreover, the shape of the cross section changes from a
circle to an approximate ellipse due to the action of the resultant
force F1 and F2. When the deformation amount is too large, cracks
will occur on the outer tube wall, while wrinkles will occur on the
inner tube wall.
The degree of tube deformation depends on the relative bending
radius R/D and relative thickness t/D values.The smaller R/D and
t/D, the greater the deformation.In order to ensure the forming
quality of pipe fittings, it is necessary to control the
deformation degree within the permitted scope.The forming limit of
pipe fitting shall include the following contents:
1) the maximum elongation deformation in the tensile deformation
zone outside the neutral layer does not exceed the plastic
allowable value of the material, resulting in fracture;
2) in the compression deformation zone inside the neutral layer,
the thin-walled structure under the action of tangential
compressive stress will not be more than unstable and wrinkle;
3) if the pipe fitting is required to be ovality, control its
section to produce distortion;
4) if the pipe fitting is required to bear the strength of internal
pressure, control the forming limit of wall thickness reduction.

Before the use of the cold push elbow machine to check whether the
power switch is normal, hydraulic oil is not prepared enough.Check
whether there is any damage to the press mould and whether the
height meets the requirements.Check whether the press mold is
installed in place and should be fixed firmly.Adjust the Angle
positioning frame to the appropriate position, put the electric
heat neatly in the die to start the bending machine to make sure
that the Angle of the bend is in place before taking it out and
replacing it with the other end to repeat the above actions.Mark
the processed products.The equipment must be carefully checked that
there is no product or foreign body in the die before
starting.After the device is opened, it is strictly forbidden to
put your hand into the die or the rod stroke.In the production
process, if there is an abnormal situation, the power should be cut
off first to confirm the shutdown and then check.After production,
the power switch should be turned off and the site cleaned.
