What is a Eccentric Reducer

Eccentric reducer is a buttweld pipe fitting that used to connect pipes with different diameters, it has an edge that is parallel to the connecting pipe. This parallel edge results in the two pipes having offset center lines. The same fitting can be used in reverse as an eccentric increaser/expander.

• Inspect the surface. Such as dents, die marks, porosity, undercuts.
• Check the marking. Such as size, material grade, thickness, heat no.
• Measure the size. Such as diameter, thickness, height of end to end.
• Test the materials, including its chemical composition and mechanical properties.
