Description

An Optical Fiber Pigtail is a fiber optic cable that has a connector added to one end to enable connection to a beam path. The Pigtail is a length of fiber that is permanently attached to a connector on one end only. Pigtails are assembled with a variety of connector types, including FC, SC, ST, LC, MU, and MTRJ, among others. There are three types of polished fiber end-faces available: PC, UPC, and APC.
