Red silicone coated high silica cloth is produced from silica treated fiberglass fabric
which is coated with a red silicone/rubber on its single side. It
is a inorganic fiberglass fabric, which has more than 96% content of SiO2. The melting point of the basic silica cloth is
1200℃. It can be used below 800degree continuously. However, it can work well instantaneously under 1200℃ . The silicone coating can withstand temperature range from 260 to
300℃. Silicone coated high silica cloth is excepting for fireproof,
chemical resistant and abrasion resistant
The basic high silica cloth is weighed at 600g/m2. Including
coating, its total weight is 700g/m2(100gsm silicone coating on one
side). Then total thickness is 0.8mm. Count per cm is Warp18/ Weft
13. Weave type of 8H satin weave. In this weave, there is a weft yarn
floats over seven warp yarns and under one warp. In fact satin
weave is a stable weave which is compared with plain weave.
