Metallographic optical microscopes allow the user to view opaque
items at high magnification with reflected and transmitted light,
which are used for a variety of specialty applications such as
semiconductor silicon wafer manufacturing, inspection and quality
control like inspection of grain size, surface inclusions and
defects, crystallography, and analysis of sand castings in iron
metal foundries.
They can also be used for metallic grain microstructure analysis
and identification, measurement of thin films, electroplating
coatings, microscopic analysis of opaque surfaces, study of
prehistoric stone age tools and artifacts, historical preservation,
the study of metallurgy, and metal patina analysis.
Our metallurgical microscopes are available in binocular and
trinocular models with both upright,inverted and boom stand
microscope systems, while long working distance NCM-M5000 inverted
metallurgical optical microscope features stable stand structure,
advanced stage design and comfortable operation, with wide field
eyepiece WF 10X/22 and bright or dark field Infinite LWD Plan Achromatic Objective 5×/0.12/∞/-(BF/DF) LWD 10mm, 10×/0.25/∞/-(BF/DF) LWD 10mm, 20×/0.4/∞/0(BF/DF) LWD 5mm, 50×/0.75/∞/0(BF/DF) LWD 1.3mm, 100×/0.9/∞/0(BF/DF) LWD 0.7mm,it can identify and analyze not only a variety of metals, alloys,
non-metallic material and the organizational structure and
integrated circuits, but also micro-particles,
wires, fibers, surface coating and so on. Digital cameras can be
added to the trinocular tube to take images and make image
analysis.
