Chemical pump is a single stage single suction centrifugal pump used to deliver corrosive liquid without solid particles and similar to water in viscidity. Feature:

The pressure acting on the shaft seals is compensated by means of back shrouds or balancing bores at the impeller. The shaft is sealed either by cooled or uncooled soft packing or by single or double mechanical seals of various designs which can also be balanced. Antifriction bearings designed for long durability and an amply dimensioned shaft ensure a particularly smooth running. For some sizes the volute to compensate the radial forces. The bearing frame, shaft, impeller and stuffing-box housing form a subassembly, i.e the volute casing does not have to be disconnected from the pipe work for maintenance work.
