Description

The GIGAOPTO's GTS-B574912-80DC transceiver is a single fiber bi-direction 1000Mbps Small Form-factor Pluggable SFP BIDI module for use in 1000BASE Ethernet. SFP BX80 provides 1Gb/s throughput up to 80km over single-mode fiber (SMF) using 1570nm in transmitter side and 1490nm in receiver side. Its electrical interface is MSA compliant 20-pin edge type connector and the optical interface is Simplex LC connector. The full-duplex SFP transceiver features highly reliable DFB transmitter and PIN photo detector to offer high performance interconnection at 1Gbps data rate.

This bi-directional unit must be used with another transceiver or network equipment of complementary wavelengths.It provides 1000BASE Ethernet connectivity options for Fast Ethernet, Telecom and Data Centers. The SFP transceiver module is a Class 1 laser product compliant with FDA/CDRH and IEC-60825 standards.
