VR Safety Joint of Open Hole Drill Stem Testing Tools 5" x 10000psi​

The VR Safety joint is a compact, right-hand safety joint of drill stem testing string. The VR safety joint is run immediately above the retrievable packer assembly to ensure that a minimum number of tools are left in the hole if it becomes necessary to release the safety joint. The VR safety joint is designed with bypass which acts as an auxiliary to the Hydro spring tester bypass to allow fluid to pass though the packer while the work string is being pulled out of the hole.
