1. Does not use any resources of the motherboard CPU thus making the system EXTREMELY RELIABLE regardless on type of operating system used and frees up resources that can be used for other application such as POS & Access Control Interfacing.
2. Each video card has a separate processor for each channel therefore each channel is processed independently. In doing so, if there is a problem with a certain channel, it will not affect the other channels. You can even mix & match NTSC and PAL or AC & DC sources on the same DVR system without any affect.
